His artistic talent was recognised early in school life with artwork constantly on display in the school main entrance. Always placed in higher age group classes and at the age of 12 was invited by the local Art College to join adult groups on Saturday mornings.

His love of art continued and an aptitude for engineering set the course for a 'real job' with a local Aviation company gaining a full Aviation Engineering qualification.

Art, Design and Engineering were perfect partners for the following years which included many of his own projects.

An invitation to present his portfolio to The Royal College of Art resulted in ' Brilliant! There's nothing we can teach you!' Over the next few years commissions from Middle East and Far East Royalty established a course of commercial work, along with the normal constraints and parameters.

Wanting to establish a complete 'free hand and mind' to his work it was decided that this work would not be his, but him!

Let loose so 'him! the artist' was free to explore and express any ideas.
